You will own the first mile of the revenue path, conducting target-account research, cold outreach, and discovery calls to hand off qualified opportunities to leadership and practitioners. The role emphasizes B2B outbound selling, strong communication, and reliable CRM discipline.

Open qualified conversations for the people who scope and deliver the work. Research accounts, call prospects, qualify genuine buyer needs, and book useful discovery calls.

This is a full-time W-2 employee role, 100% remote within the United States. The anticipated start date and final written offer depend on completion of DSE's current financing plan.

Compensation

Base salary: $55,000-$70,000 per year, plus variable compensation under a written incentive plan. Planned benefits include employer-subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; a 401(k); and remote-work equipment. Final plan details are provided before an accepted offer and begin when employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Build the right list. Research accounts and contacts with a concrete AI security, data, cybersecurity, governance, or platform problem DSE can credibly solve.
• Call and follow up. Run consistent phone, email, LinkedIn, referral, and event follow-up using approved messaging and professional judgment.
• Separate interest from fit. Confirm the buyer, problem, urgency, environment, and next step without inventing technical claims, pricing, or commitments.
• Book a useful meeting. Prepare clear context for DSE leadership and technical practitioners, keep CRM records clean, and own follow-up.

Qualifications

Required

• B2B outbound experience, including phone-based prospecting.
• Clear written and spoken communication.
• Reliable CRM and follow-up habits.
• Good judgment about qualification and escalation.
• US work authorization. No specific degree is required.

Preferred

• Technical services, cybersecurity, AI, data, cloud, or SaaS experience.
• Experience with regulated, federal, or mid-market buyers.
• Evidence of meetings that advanced beyond the first call.
• Comfort learning technical offers without overstating expertise.
