Job summary

TEKsystems in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Order Management) for a 6-month contract. The hybrid role requires in-office attendance Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays, with standard hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of B2B customer service and order management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Outlook and data-entry systems. Pay is $20.00–$24.00/hour plus eligible benefits for a temporary assignment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-7 years of customer service experience.
• Previous experience in a B2B Order Management environment is required.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Outlook and data entry systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.
• Experience accurately documenting customer information and maintaining detailed records.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, orders, and account-related issues.
• Investigate and resolve customer service and billing concerns, including account adjustments and order-related discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers regarding claim investigations, resolutions, and necessary follow-up actions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate departments for further review and resolution.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
• Process and manage customer requests while ensuring excellent service and timely follow-up.
• Support order management activities within a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient issue resolution.
