Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Reliability, organization and attention to detail required.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Moderate computer skills with business systems use and internet search.
• Product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via multiple channels (phone, fax, email, walk-in).
• Influences gross profit by negotiating price within parameters.
• Adjusts non-contract pricing to meet customer needs while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
• Maintains inventory levels and places orders as needed.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods and coordinates with Account Representatives.
• Expedites backorders and may handle returns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
