Merchants Metals LLC is seeking an Inside Sales Representative based in Pflugerville, TX. You will manage contractor and B2B accounts, drive repeat business, upsell products, and deliver strong customer service to grow revenue.

In this hands-on role, you’ll handle inbound and outbound calls, qualify needs, provide pricing, and close sales while coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure timely orders. A 3–6 year track record in B2B inside sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of inside sales experience, preferably in B2B distribution, building materials, or industrial environments.
• Proven ability to generate sales, upsell products, and grow customer accounts.
• Strong phone presence with confidence in handling sales conversations.
• Ability to build relationships with contractors, builders, and similar customers.
• Highly organized with multitasking and prioritization.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and B2B customers.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products based on needs.
• Grow existing accounts through follow-up and engagement.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to generate sales and process orders.
