Job summary

Merchants Metals is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to partner with assigned customers, provide outstanding service, quote projects, and drive sales growth through proactive problem solving. You will manage orders from entry to delivery and support a growing customer base in a dynamic materials environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in inside sales or customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with CRM/ERP systems to manage pipelines and orders.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of inside sales, sales, or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems to manage sales pipelines, track orders, and maintain customer data.
• Understanding of construction materials or fencing products is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build day-to-day relationships with assigned customers to understand pain points and grow sales.
• Quote projects, provide product recommendations, and manage the order process from entry to delivery.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure orders are picked, loaded, and delivered accurately and on time.
• Provide world-class customer service to support customer success and repeat business.
