Vistar is seeking an Accounts Receivable specialist to manage all current and past-due balances for assigned customers. You will monitor national corporate accounts, negotiate payment plans, and support internal teams with accurate billing and documentation.

The role requires strong Excel skills, clear communication, and experience in B2B collections. The environment emphasizes teamwork and delivering quality customer service across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, v lookups, filters, and basic formulas
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• B2B Collections experience
• Comfortability with talking on the phone with clients and customers for a large portion of the day.

Responsibilities

• Monitors large and/or complex customer accounts and collects on a timely basis.
• Inputs comments into Corp 400/AS 400 throughout phone calls with customers to document items.
• Reviews accounts on hold to determine appropriate actions.
• Updates Sales on customer status via phone, written and in person communication.
• Provides assistance to Cash Application Specialists regarding customers' contacts and payments.
• Accesses hard copy customer files; handles filing tasks and related duties as needed.
