Job summary

AcctPositions is seeking a Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist to lead the full AR lifecycle, drive collections, and resolve customer disputes while collaborating with Billing, Sales, Operations, and Branch Management.

You will manage a portfolio of 300+ B2B accounts and strengthen cash flow with proactive credit management. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of AR/commercial collections experience, a strong ERP and Excel skill set, and a proven ability to negotiate payment arrangements while

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in Accounts Receivable and commercial collections.
• Experience in construction, equipment rental, industrial services preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables).
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

• Aging reports.
• Maintain relationships with B2B clients to ensure timely payment.
• Manage portfolio of 300+ accounts.
• Daily collections via calls, emails, and follow-up.
• Develop and execute collection strategies to reduce delinquencies.
• Prioritize high-risk aging accounts to maximize cash.
• Negotiate payment arrangements.
• Escalate accounts requiring legal review.
• Investigate and resolve disputes with Billing, Sales, Operations, and Branch Management.
• Reconcile customer accounts and unapplied cash.
• Maintain accurate records and collection documentation.
• Prepare aging reports and collection metrics for trends.
