LHH is seeking a Customer Service & Collections Specialist to support B2B accounts in a fast-paced environment. You will manage accounts, conduct outbound collection calls, and resolve billing issues while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes professional communication, ability to handle a large volume of calls, and adherence to collection procedures. Temp-to-hire with compensation between $19 and $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, collections, accounts receivable, or related B2B environment.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume calls and maintain professionalism.
• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to build relationships while collecting past-due balances.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and customer account systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial customer accounts and maintain regular communication regarding status.
• Conduct high-volume outbound collection calls and handle inbound inquiries.
• Follow up on past-due invoices and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Document account activity and collection efforts in company systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer questions and expedite resolution.
• Process customer payments and update account records.
• Review aging reports and prioritize collection activities to improve cash flow.
• Monitor customer accounts for payment trends and potential credit concerns.
• Meet productivity, call volume, and collection performance goals.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and established collection procedures.
