Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced cloud leader to own delivery of Azure Government platform capabilities across multiple initiatives. You will guide technical direction, balance security and scalability, and drive DevSecOps maturity in government projects.

With 7+ years in engineering and Azure expertise, you will mentor teams and ensure delivery excellence in a complex security‑constrained environment. This role offers senior leadership within EY’s Government and Infrastructure practice.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in engineering roles with private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
• Strong hands‑on experience: Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD.
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Container Apps, Helm.
• Networking fundamentals: VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, load‑balancing.
• Cloud security: NIST, FedRAMP, least privilege, encryption, logging/monitoring.
• Identity and access: Entra ID, Azure RBAC, PIM, managed identities.
• Windows and Linux administration: patching, performance, security baselines.
• Scripting: PowerShell; Python is a plus.
• Experience with government security frameworks; Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of cloud platform and infrastructure capabilities across multiple initiatives.
• Set and guide technical direction for Azure Government platforms.
• Establish and evolve DevSecOps practices and automation approaches.
• Make informed trade off decisions balancing speed, quality, security, and risk.
• Lead architecture and design reviews for alignment with standards.
• Oversee risk, dependency, and issue management across delivery efforts.
• Influence stakeholders across product, engineering, and leadership without direct authority.
• Develop and grow engineering talent through coaching and delegation.
• Promote operational excellence by improving processes and tooling.
