Job summary

EY is seeking an Assistant Director for Government and Infrastructure Technology to lead Azure Government cloud programs, guiding strategy and execution across multiple workstreams. You will shape platform direction, drive DevSecOps, and balance risk, security, and performance while mentoring teams in a complex, government-focused environment.

The role requires 7+ years in engineering, a solid cloud and security foundation, and strong collaboration with product, engineering, and leadership

Qualifications

7+ years in engineering roles with private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD using tools like Bicep, Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or Ansible.
Containers and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Azure Container Apps, or Helm.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of cloud platform and infrastructure capabilities across initiatives.
Guide technical direction for Azure Government platforms to ensure scalable, secure solutions.
Establish and evolve DevSecOps practices for delivery quality and reliability.
Make informed trade-off decisions balancing speed, quality, risk and platform health.
Lead architecture and design reviews ensuring alignment with standards.
