Job summary

EY is seeking a senior cloud leader to deliver Azure Government platform capabilities at scale in the US. You will guide technical direction, enable delivery teams, and balance delivery, security, and long-term health within government programs.

You’ll lead architecture discussions, drive DevSecOps practices, and grow engineering talent while aligning with EY's standards and government requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in engineering roles with private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certifications.
• IaC & CI/CD using tools like Bicep, Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or Ansible.
• Containers and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, AKS/Helm deployments.
• Networking fundamentals: design/troubleshooting VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, load-balancing.
• Cloud security principles: NIST/FedRAMP, least privilege, monitoring.
• Identity and access management with Entra ID, RBAC, PIM.
• Windows and Linux administration: patching, hardening, performance.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Python or similar.
• Experience with government security frameworks (NIST).
• Agile delivery in Scrum/Kanban/SAFe.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of cloud platform and infrastructure capabilities across initiatives.
• Set and guide technical direction for Azure Government platforms.
• Establish and evolve DevSecOps practices and automation.
• Make informed trade-offs balancing speed, quality, risk.
• Lead architecture and design reviews to ensure standards alignment.
• Oversee risk, dependency, and issue management across delivery efforts.
• Influence stakeholders to align priorities and drive execution.
• Develop and grow engineering talent through coaching and delegation.
• Promote operational excellence through processes and tooling improvements.
