Job summary

Porch Group seeks an Infrastructure Engineering Lead to guide cloud and platform engineering across a regulated, financial‑risk environment. You will run hands‑on Azure infrastructure, drive DevOps practices, and ensure SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 compliance.

This role balances architecture, hands‑on delivery, and people leadership within a SAFe agile context. You will lead a POD focused on DevOps, Compliance, and Release Management, collaborating with Security, Audit, Product, and IT Ops

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Infrastructure/Platform/DevOps with leadership
• Hands‑on Azure platform experience in regulated environments
• Strong CI/CD, IaC, automation, and reliability engineering
• Experience with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 controls
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile delivery and audits

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on leadership for Azure‑based infrastructure and DevOps
• Architect, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure environments for regulated workloads
• Lead Platform Engineering practices including CI/CD, IaC, automation, observability, and SRE
• Own SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 governance, audit readiness, and remediation
• Embed security and compliance in SAFe Agile delivery and release planning
• Lead architectural reviews and design decisions for high‑quality outcomes
• Oversee Azure Entra ID & Office 365 administration and security controls
• Produce reports on infra, security, and SaaS expenses and optimization
• Lead POD people management: hiring, coaching, performance reviews
• Manage Release Management for auditable deployments; ensure compliance
• Audit and reconcile software/hardware inventory and licenses, costs
• Collaborate with Product, Security, Compliance, Audit, IT Ops teams
• Identify risks and remove blockers to ensure predictable delivery
• Maintain platform health and delivery metrics, security posture, compliance status
• Participate in internal/external audits (ISO, SOX) with evidence prep and remediation
