Job summary

IREN seeks an Azure DevOps Lead Engineer to own Azure platform architecture, governance, and DevOps practices for a regulated, enterprise-scale environment. You will mentor engineers, drive IaC standards, and ensure secure, auditable pipelines across Azure and M365.

You will work with Cybersecurity and Compliance to maintain SOX and ISO 27001 readiness while optimizing cost and performance. This is a hands-on leadership role with cross-time-zone collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
7+ years in DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering.
Experience designing enterprise Azure environments at scale.
Strong IaC and CI/CD design experience.
Auditing for SOX / ISO 27001 in regulated settings.

Responsibilities

Define Azure / M365 platform architecture and governance.
Mentor DevOps engineers and enforce IaC standards.
Own platform reliability, monitoring, SLOs, and incident handling.
Drive security-by-design and compliance automation.
Communicate risks and platform status to IT leadership.
