Job summary

SECURA Insurance is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead enterprise-scale Azure platforms and modernize our hybrid cloud environment. You will drive IaC using Terraform, automate deployments, mentor peers, and guide disaster recovery readiness with minimal supervision.

You will collaborate with security, application teams, and leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure that supports SECURA's strategic objectives in a hybrid office model.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of infrastructure engineering experience maintaining enterprise environments.
• Proven design, implementation, and support of enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure.
• Strong Terraform, IaC, and automation practices.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Deep understanding of Azure networking, identity, security, and governance.
• Experience leading hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Ability to drive initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure platforms with security, scalability, governance, and operational excellence.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform and related automation frameworks.
• Design and implement consistent, repeatable, and automated infrastructure deployments.
• Drive architecture and design decisions for infrastructure platforms aligned with strategy.
• Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, resiliency validation, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a technical leader during major incidents, problem management, and RCA efforts.
• Partner with security, application, and business teams to deliver resilient infrastructure.
• Build and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and scripting technologies.
• Design and support Azure networking, identity, security, and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for reliability and performance.
• Mentor engineers and analysts through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Communicate infrastructure strategy and risks to leadership.
• Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours support as needed.
