Populus Group is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to join our Payroll Team. You will support contractors through the onboarding experience, delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

You will manage onboarding communications, update statuses in real time, and coordinate start details while partnering with HR on benefits and compliance. This role offers a hybrid work environment with remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with benefits and employment law is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an uncommon onboarding experience for contractors.
• Coordinate onboarding processes and communicate status updates to customers.
• Maintain employee files during onboarding and assist with new start setup.
• Coordinate 401k and Benefits with Internal HR and manage background checks.
