Job summary

Mulberry Talent Partners is seeking a part-time HR & Onboarding Coordinator to manage onboarding from offer to employee setup. The role supports 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, and can be fully remote or hybrid in NW Portland.

Responsibilities include processing data in UKG, initiating background checks, completing I-9s, and maintaining HR records. This limited-duration assignment runs through December with possible extension through April 2027.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience supporting a HR or Talent Acquisition team as a coordinator or administrative assistant.
• 2+ years’ experience with HRIS systems and tools, UKG preferred.
• Knowledge of employee onboarding processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding from offer acceptance through employee setup.
• Process onboarding data and transactions in UKG.
• Initiate and track background checks and employment screenings.
• Complete I-9 documentation and related onboarding compliance tasks.
• Monitor onboarding progress and ensure completion of required employee actions.
• Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems.
