Job summary

Amentum's Axle and Transmission Development Laboratory (ATDL) is seeking a Test Engineer to design, deliver, and direct test systems for HEV DV requirements across milestones. You will collaborate with engineers and vendors to support testing needs and develop a broad product testing skill set.

Responsibilities include developing DV testing processes, procuring test equipment, operating ATI/ETAS systems, and guiding Test Technicians in execution and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited school.
• Strong MS Office suite and computer skills, including Excel-VB macro development.
• Excellent leadership, communications and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Transmission/Drivetrain Design Verification testing processes.
• Develop, procure, and install new test equipment systems to support DV requirements.
• Lead test site troubleshooting and provide direction to Test Technicians in DV testing.
