Job summary

Amentum is hiring a Dyna Test Technician to work at the Axle and Transmission Development lab in Livonia, MI. You will contribute to automotive testing across transmission, engine, axles and exhaust components, operating test stands and monitoring durability tests.

We seek candidates with a passion for automotive systems, basic tool skills, and familiarity with MS Office. The role involves physical duties and a Monday–Friday schedule with potential shift variations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Computer experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic hand tool usage.
• Basic understanding of engine and transmission functions.

Responsibilities

• Duties include working on transmission, engine, axles or exhaust components on test stands.
• Operate durability and performance test stands and monitor ongoing tests.
• Troubleshoot setup and operational issues in transmission/axle testing.
• Coordinate with requesters to meet testing requirements using clear verbal/written communication.
