Amentum in Livonia, MI, seeks a Transmission Lab Test Engineer to design, implement, and manage DV testing for HEV drivetrains. You will work with engineers and vendors to deploy test systems, analyze data, and deliver robust test methods for milestones and sign-offs.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, development of new equipment, and collaboration across the test lab, with opportunities to advance calibration, automation, and DV processes in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited school.
• Strong MS Office suite and Excel-VB macro development.
• Excellent leadership, communications and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team.
• Ability to develop & deliver business cases and presentations, project documentation to be delivered to upper management.
• Ability to work under pressure and make appropriate decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deliver, and direct test systems to satisfy HEV and DV requirements.
• Develop, procure, and install new test equipment to support DV.
• Provide direction to Test Technicians for DV testing and translate requests into manuals.
• Develop and refine DV test methods with R&D engineers.
