Amentum in Livonia, MI is seeking a Transmission Lab Test Engineer to design, deliver, and direct test systems supporting HEV and drivetrain DV requirements. You’ll work with engineers, test vendors, and technicians to build robust test processes and equipment.

Responsibilities span DV method development, equipment procurement, and data delivery. Candidates should lead testing efforts, analyze fault codes, and contribute to DV verification milestones.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited school.
• Strong MS Office and Excel-VB macro development skills.
• Excellent leadership, communications and interpersonal skills; teamwork focus.
• Ability to develop and deliver business cases and project documentation for upper management.
• Experience with test equipment, DV testing, and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute Transmission/Drivetrain DV testing processes.
• Develop, procure, and install new test equipment to support DV requirements.
• Operate ATI/ETAS systems; extract fault codes and analyze Calibrations/Data files.
• Guide Test Technicians; write test requests and manuals; assist in day-to-day testing.
• Lead test-site troubleshooting and collaborate with D&R engineers on test methods.
• Manage test data QC and deliver results to customers.
