Job summary

True Environmental, in NC, seeks an Associate Vice President – Client Development to lead business development of EHS/Industrial Hygiene projects, manage key accounts, and drive strategic initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior VP, you will cultivate client relationships, negotiate contracts, and mentor project teams while representing the firm at conferences and industry events to grow visibility and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, A/E/C or relevant industry.
• 10+ years of business development and leading/building client relationships.
• Ability to work effectively with team members on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.
• Strong verbal and written communication to interact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support development and lead execution of strategic plans to grow EHS/Industrial Hygiene consulting services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and negotiate contracts to hit project targets.
• Develop relationships to become a trusted advisor and manage key accounts with long-term potential.
• Engage with potential and existing clients through meetings, conferences, and site visits.
• Lead development of proposals for new projects and programs; mentor junior team members.
• Ensure resources are allocated and deliver high-quality work; represent the company at industry events.
