Job summary

Moody's is seeking an AVP-Ratings (CRE SFG) to lead analysis and surveillance of commercial real estate securitizations, supporting high-quality credit assessments and research. You will develop deal-level financial models and substantiate opinions for rating committees, collaborating with a seasoned CRE team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
• Graduate studies or professional CRE finance certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and surveillance of CRE securitizations to support credit assessments.
• Analyze the credit aspects of CMBS transactions, property cash flows, and performance.
• Develop deal-level financial models to support rating surveillance and credit analysis.
• Formulate and substantiate credit opinions based on quantitative and qualitative assessments.
• Serve as lead ratings analyst for assigned transactions and present to rating committees.
• Communicate analytical conclusions and transaction updates during meetings and discussions.
• Prepare accurate, insightful research publications and press releases.
• Conduct special research projects and contribute thought leadership initiatives.
• Support rating analysis of CRE CLO transactions, including transitional floating-rate CRE loans.
