Job summary

Moody’s is seeking a senior analyst in Structured Finance to lead quantitative, structural, and legal reviews of corporate CLO transactions and to support high‑quality credit ratings and research.

You will analyze cash flow structures, prepare rating memoranda, and present recommendations to rating committees, collaborating with issuers, arrangers, and investors. A strong background in credit analysis and experience with AI-driven workflows is required.

Qualifications

• MBA, JD, or Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as an analyst or in a related role involving credit analysis of CLOs or other structured credit transactions
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to present to rating committees and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead quantitative, structural, and legal review of corporate CLO transactions to support credit ratings and research
• Analyze cash flow CLO structures and transaction documentation to determine credit risk and support rating outcomes
• Prepare rating committee memoranda and present clear, well‑supported rating recommendations
• Conduct legal analysis of CLO transactions and asset-level documentation to assess credit impact and protections
• Communicate effectively with arrangers, issuers, investors, and external legal experts throughout the rating process
• Author publishable research and deliver external presentations as required
• Participate in on-site operational reviews of issuers and contribute to special projects
