Job summary

Moody's Corporation is seeking an AVP-Ratings Analyst to lead the rating and monitoring of structured finance transactions, focusing on CLOs, structured credit, and corporate ABS, delivering high-quality credit opinions.

You will analyze credit, structural, operational, and legal risks, model cash flows, lead rating committees, and engage with market participants to produce actionable research and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field with 3+ years credit analysis experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in CLOs, structured credit or ABS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead analyst for structured finance transactions, evaluating credit, structural, operational, and legal risks.
• Analyze transaction performance, collateral characteristics, and structural features to formulate rating recommendations and credit opinions.
• Model cash flows and review transaction documentation to assess stress scenarios and outcomes.
• Lead rating committees and present analysis of structures, legal considerations, and key risks.
• Communicate with arrangers, issuers, investors, trustees, servicers, and external advisors.
• Publish research including transaction reports, sector commentary, and market analyses.
• Monitor ratings and identify emerging risks across structured finance sectors.
• Participate in projects to enhance analytical frameworks and digital enablement.
