Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking an Area Vice President of Sales for Advanced Technology in the People Protection space, leading four specialist teams and three regional directors. You will own the global GTM for Collaboration Protection, coach leaders, and accelerate revenue growth across regions.

This is a remote role based near a major metro area with a focus on security technology adoption and customer success. You will close strategic opportunities, collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience managing high-performing field sales teams across large or distributed geographies.
Experience selling security solutions with knowledge of security technologies and industry trends.
Strong consultative selling skills with ability to articulate value and guide complex decisions.

Responsibilities

Drive field engagement and actively support closing high-value deals.
Lead, mentor and develop talent across regions to build a high-performing specialist sales team.
Operate as a data-driven leader using metrics and forecasting to guide decisions.
Define partner plans and collaborate with channel teams to expand revenue.
Coordinate with Marketing, Product, Sales Engineering to accelerate product adoption.
Nurture strategic customer relationships and drive footprint expansion in key accounts.
