Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a capable Avionics Software Intern to work with our engineering teams on projects spanning orbital rockets through ground systems. You will engage in design, development and testing of avionics software and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across programs.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to the full software lifecycle. Ideal candidates are undergraduates with at least one semester remaining, a strong communication skill set, and a passion

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester remaining.
• Completed at least one year of post-high school coursework.
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks during internship.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development and testing of avionics software and hardware.
• Collaborate with Blue engineering teams across programs and systems.
• Contribute to software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
• Support debugging and troubleshooting across server-side and client-side components.
