Job summary

Blue Origin offers an Avionics Software Intern position where you will work directly with engineering teams on real-time embedded software for launch vehicle systems. You will design, develop, and test software for avionics hardware across programs from orbital rockets to ground systems.

You will gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and engage in events across the organization while contributing to safety-critical software and the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester remaining.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python for embedded/systems work.
• Interest in avionics, spaceflight, and safety-critical software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test avionics software for spaceflight programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on real-time embedded systems.
• Contribute to full software lifecycle: requirements, design, verification, and deployment.
