Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Software Intern to work with engineering teams on projects ranging from orbital rockets to moon landers. The role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to various parts of the organization.

Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a graduate degree program and able to work full time for at least 15 weeks. The internship includes housing and relocation support, with transportation responsibilities for interns.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status required.
• Must be enrolled in a graduate degree program with at least one semester remaining.
• Available to work full time for at least 15 weeks while not enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for mission and vision.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design solutions for vehicle development, testing and operations.
• Troubleshoot and fix software issues at server and client levels.
