Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking an Avionics Software Intern to join our team and work on projects supporting orbital rockets, ground systems, test stands, and moon landers. You will collaborate with engineering teams and contribute to software development across the full lifecycle.

Expect hands-on experience, mentorship from managers and mentors, and participation in events to learn about other parts of our organization.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for mission and vision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Blue engineering teams on avionics software projects.
• Contribute to the software development life cycle from requirements analysis to testing and maintenance.
• Gain hands-on, real-world experience and receive mentorship and feedback.
