Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Software Intern to join our engineering teams in Washington. You will assist with the design, development and testing of avionics software and hardware across programs from orbital rockets to ground systems. Expect hands-on projects, mentorship, and real-world experience contributing to mission goals.

You must be enrolled in a graduate program, eligible for full-time 15-week work, and able to work in the U.S. with a strong communications skill set.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible for US work authorization.
• Currently enrolled in a graduate program with at least one semester left.
• Able to work full time for 15 weeks while not enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development and testing of avionics software/hardware.
• Collaborate with Blue engineering teams across programs from rockets to ground systems.
• Gain hands-on experience through mentored projects and feedback.
