Job summary

Blue Origin invites undergrad interns to join avionics software projects, designing, developing and testing software for orbital rockets, ground systems, test stands and moon landers.

You will collaborate with Blue engineering teams, gain hands-on experience, and participate in the software development life cycle from requirements analysis to testing and maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and real-time embedded systems in spaceflight contexts.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student with at least one semester remaining.
• Full-time availability for 15 weeks.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S., per regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist avionics software development and testing.
• Collaborate with Blue engineering teams on projects.
• Contribute to software life cycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, maintenance.
• Triage and fix software issues at multiple levels.
