Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a devoted electronics hardware engineer to lead the development of a state-of-the-art motor controller for space cryo‑cooling applications. You will guide the full lifecycle from concept through production, collaborating with a small, specialized team of engineers to meet stringent performance criteria.

You will apply your expertise in analog/digital design, signal integrity, and PCB layouts while advocating for safety and reliability in aerospace hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of electronics hardware development experience.
• Direct hands-on experience with aerospace or commercial electronic assemblies.
• Experience with analog, digital and mixed-signal circuits, signal integrity, power, grounding, and board layout principles.
• Exposure to analog/digital filters and signal conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop analog and/or digital boards interacting with avionics systems.
• Lead design across full lifecycle: concept, requirements, prototyping, verification, and production release.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and test/verification planning.
• Support trades studies as required.
• Ensure design goals, schedules, and performance criteria are met.
