Job summary

Blue Origin designs and tests high-reliability avionics hardware for space propulsion systems. The role leads a small design team, shaping circuits, boards, and assemblies from concept through production with rigorous testing and safety in mind.

You will interpret requirements, perform DFx and FMECA activities, and oversee schedules for avionics subsystems within the Engines business unit.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10 years of professional experience, 8+ years in electronics hardware development.
• Direct hands-on experience with analog and digital circuit design, analysis, test, and debug.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power, grounding, and board layout principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized teammate.

Responsibilities

• Interpret systems engineering and quality requirements for electrical product development.
• Develop circuits, boards, and rugged hardware across the product lifecycle from concept to production.
• Support FMECA, DFx, and root-cause analysis of test discrepancies.
• Manage design schedules of avionics subsystems and present program status.
