Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Unit Manager, Station Training for our Ground Handling Department in Washington, DC. You will train station staff, conduct airport familiarization, and demonstrate equipment use across shifts, including nights and weekends.

The role requires airline supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with all management levels. Initial training is provided, with opportunities to advance within a growing aviation team.

Qualifications

• Two years of airline supervisory experience.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality on-the-job training for new employees and continuous learning for station staff.
• Conduct airport familiarization for new hire employees.
• Demonstrate proper use of all equipment and vehicles.
• Provide hands-on training for de-icing follow-up after training events to ensure compliance.
• Assist with delivery and storage of station supplies.
• Provide support when special events are scheduled.
