Job summary

Piedmont Airlines seeks a motivated Unit Manager, Customer Operations in Ground Handling. Manage departmental operations per policy, coach staff, and ensure safe equipment handling. Lead a team including supervisors and agents, with scheduling, reporting, and performance reviews.

Requirements include prior supervisory experience in Ramp/Customer Service, familiarity with AOA environments, and knowledge of QIK, Sabre, and ICM. Bachelor’s in Aviation or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven success as a Team Leader with ability to preplan manpower and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with all management levels and staff.
• Able to defuse conflicts among team members.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior experience with internal controls processes for accountable items.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations with focus on safety, staff scheduling, and performance.
• Coach and develop staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Admin duties including reports; manage shifts and rotations.
