Quantem Aviation Services is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily station operations at Bartonville, IL. You will oversee flight, cargo and mail handling, ensuring safe, compliant, and customer-focused service while driving efficiency and staff development.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least five years of management experience in large ramp operations, with strong knowledge of airline procedures and MS Office. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Five years of management experience in large ramp operations and budget oversight.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; able to pass required background checks and airport clearance.
• Broad airline operations knowledge, including customer service, facilities and safety.
• Knowledge of airline/airport rules, aircraft handling, dangerous goods, SIDA and related certifications.
• Strong organization and Microsoft Office skills; basic accounting, tariff and weight-conversion skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily station operations, including flight, cargo and mail handling.
• Maintain compliance with airline, airport, FAA/TSA, safety and security requirements.
• Hire, schedule, train and manage employees; maintain required personnel records.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, equipment readiness and safe work practices.
• Coordinate with airline customers and airport authorities on operational needs and concerns.
• Assist with audits, reporting, budgets, invoicing and payroll; support on-time operations.
