Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced leader for a fulltime traveling role supporting aviation projects across the United States. The position reports to the Aviation Market Segment Group and emphasizes GMP-driven cost-control, coordination of Special Systems, and cross-functional leadership.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in low‑voltage and IT infrastructure systems, strong knowledge of industry standards, and proven supervisory and project-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with progressive responsibility in Low Voltage systems and IT Infrastructure
• Experience installing one or more major Special Systems and IT Infrastructure components
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA and BICSI standards
• Familiar with design-bid-build, design-build and CMAR delivery methods
• Extensive system integration experience
• Supervisory experience; ability to motivate and develop teams
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication; able to engage stakeholders
• Advanced project management skills; capable of handling large volumes of work in deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage Special Systems procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out processes
• Prepare scope of work documents with divisions of responsibility for trades and specific scopes of work for special systems
• Participate in GMP development and align features with scope while managing cost premiums
• Review contract documents to mitigate risk across SD-30%, DD-60%, CD-100% and related docs
• Negotiate construction change requests leveraging contract knowledge
• Lead integration and delivery of Special Systems compliance, field engineering, quality control from inception to closeout
• Develop relationships with Engineers, Consultants, Subcontractors and Owner representatives
• Coach and develop Turner Special Systems employees; contribute to talent growth and performance reviews
• Collaborate with Business Development on proposals and client presentations
• Foster team environment for continuous improvement and coaching
• Participate in hiring, onboarding and performance feedback processes
• Other duties as assigned
