Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned professional for a full-time traveling role supporting aviation projects across the United States. The position reports to the Aviation Market Segment Group and prioritizes Special Systems management, coordination, and installation.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with Low Voltage and IT Infrastructure within construction, and can read complex contract documents while coordinating with multiple trades.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience in construction with design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations of major Special Systems/Low Voltage and IT Infrastruktur components
• Experience installing one or more major Special Systems and IT Infrastructure components
• Working knowledge of TIA/EIA and BICSI standards required
• Special Systems integration experience is essential
• Ability to read, interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, schedules
• Knowledge of construction costs, scheduling and building systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee Special Systems installation per contract documents, schedule, logistics, quality control and staffing
• Develop a comprehensive Special Systems schedule including engineering coordination and installation
• Ensure safety compliance with EH&S and Turner standards and regulations
• Manage relations with Special Systems subcontractors and trades
• Coordinate Special Systems with HVAC, MEP and fire protection disciplines
• Oversee testing, mock-ups, approvals and turnover activities
• Collaborate with VDC engineer to ensure design compliance and turn-over readiness
• Support hiring, coaching, and performance feedback for team members
