Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Senior Special Systems Project Manager for a full-time traveling assignment across the United States, supporting aviation projects. The role reports to the Aviation Market Segment Group and requires substantial experience with Special Systems/IT infrastructure and coordination across trades.

Responsibilities include leading installation, scheduling, safety compliance, coordination with engineers and subcontractors, and turnover activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience with progressive responsibility in Special Systems/Low Voltage and IT Infrastructure.
• Experience with installation of one or more major Special Systems and IT Infrastructure components.
• Working knowledge of TIA/EIA and BICSI standards.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work and project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Special Systems installation per contract documents, scheduling, logistics, quality control, field operations, WIP, and staffing; provide technical guidance.
• Develop Special Systems schedule, including engineering coordination and installation.
• Follow safety program with EH&S; ensure subcontractors comply with Turner standards and safety codes.
• Manage relationships with Special Systems subcontractors and trades to coordinate project operations.
• Coordinate Special Systems with other disciplines (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, fire protection) and resolve issues.
• Oversee mock-ups, testing, and turnover processes; ensure permits and insurance are current.
