Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft in Alcoa, TN, is seeking a Service Advisor who serves as the primary interface for customers of the Factory Service Center, coordinating maintenance scheduling, preparing work packages and quotes, and communicating status updates.

You will balance shop capacity with demand, pre-order parts, seek warranties or approvals, and uphold established maintenance programs while ensuring customers understand costs before service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Aviation Management or Aviation Maintenance Technologies or 6 years' combination of scheduling/aircraft maintenance experience with knowledge of aviation regulations.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple objectives, meet deadlines, and balance multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding scheduling aircraft into the service center for maintenance, modifications, and service bulletin compliance.
• Coordinate with parts to pre-order known parts and service bulletin kits as required.
• Seek warranty and/or customer approvals prior to work being performed.
• Escalate conditions that may impact schedule or workflow.
• Maintain balance of shop capacity to input demand at the facility and maintenance bay levels.
• Pre-arrange outside services with suppliers to meet scheduled return-to-service targets.
• Develop and provide cost estimates/invoices and upsell service bulletins.
