Job summary

The Ed Wallach Search Group is recruiting a Sales Director to drive growth in the U.S. airport and aviation security market, leveraging deep relationships with international and civil airports. The role requires closing complex, high-value security technology deals and leading multi-stakeholder sales campaigns.

The position offers leadership of strategic opportunities, exposure to airport executives and government stakeholders, and frequent travel to support business development efforts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of successful sales experience selling complex technology, security, defense, aviation, or related solutions.
• Established relationships within international and civil airport security/force protection communities.
• Strong understanding of airport security, counter-UAS, aviation technology, or adjacent markets.
• Exceptional executive presence, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth across major international and civil airport customers.
• Build and leverage relationships with airport executives, security leaders, and key industry stakeholders.
• Develop, qualify, and manage a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities.
• Lead complex sales engagements from initial contact through negotiation and close.
• Expand existing accounts by introducing new capabilities and solutions.
• Stay ahead of customer requirements, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging security needs.
• Represent the company at major industry conferences, customer meetings, and networking events.
• Partner with internal technical and business teams to develop compelling customer solutions and proposals.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and business updates.
• Proactively identify new opportunities through industry networks, referrals, targeted outreach, and business development.
