NetJets Aviation, Inc. in Columbus invites a Safety Management Systems Specialist to help implement and continuously improve our SMS program. You will support safety reporting, hazard identification, risk assessment, and performance monitoring to inform operational decisions.

The role collaborates with leaders and SMEs, maintains documentation, conducts training, and supports regulatory inspections to uphold FAA and industry standards while promoting a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Aviation or Aviation Management.
• 2-4 years of experience in safety management or aviation environment.
• Working knowledge of Safety Management System principles and FAA guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support SMS processes across operations and support functions.
• Assist with hazard reporting, safety reporting, and risk assessments.
• Maintain SMS data, records, and documentation for compliance.
• Track corrective actions and monitor safety performance trends.
• Assist in audits, inspections, and training coordination.
