Piedmont Airlines, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Safety Department Intern to gain hands-on exposure to occupational safety programs and CFRs. You will support ground safety and learn across the safety function.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a safety or aviation degree, with strong communication and computer skills; one year toward degree is preferred, Tableau knowledge a plus; flexible schedule and some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in safety or aviation/aeronautical science with at least one year completed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to create basic reports.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and multitasking abilities; good problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with Occupational Safety and Health Programs, including Injury/Illness Prevention and OSHA Self-Audits.
• Support review and follow-up of safety report submissions and data visualizations.
• Help review manuals and contribute to ground safety activities.
