Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a dependable Ground School Instructor to lead safe and effective classroom training for new hires and current pilots. You will apply your knowledge of aircraft systems and company policies to ensure training meets regulatory requirements and company standards.

The role reports to the Manager of Flight Operations Ground School and involves ongoing development of training materials, documentation, and records in a standard office/classroom environment.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
• Instructional development background.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Train new hire and current line pilots safely and efficiently.
• Instruct on aircraft systems, policies, procedures, and pilot topics.
• Monitor and evaluate training progress of line pilots.
• Maintain training facilities and equipment.
• Contribute to development and delivery of special training programs.
• Stay current with company, industry, government, and regulations.
• Prepare accurate training records and documentation.
• Ensure course content meets regulatory and company requirements.
