Job summary

Cordoba Corporation in Los Angeles seeks an Aviation Project Scheduler to oversee contractor schedules and ensure alignment with project requirements, timelines, and WBS. You will review baseline and monthly updates, coordinate with contractors, and support time impact analyses.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is preferred.
• 10+ years of scheduling experience with 5+ years on active construction projects.
• Experience with large-scale multimillion-dollar construction programs ($300M-$1B).
• Knowledge of PM principles and control cycles.
• Ability to report earned value performance.
• Understanding of CPM scheduling techniques and prioritization.
• Experience reviewing third-party design/construction schedules.
• Ability to present project trends, risks and forecasts to management.

Responsibilities

• Review Baseline Construction Schedule for conformance, proper WBS, sequencing, and logic.
• Coordinate constructability reviews of baseline submittals.
• Ensure WBS coding and resource loading are correct.
• Provide written evaluation and responses on Baseline Schedule.
• Coordinate with Contractor Scheduler for clarifications and corrections.
• Review Monthly Schedule updates for logic, progress, and critical path changes.
• Identify variations from plan and analyze causes.
• Maintain an owner shadow schedule and review TIAs for time impact.
• Attend weekly meetings and monitor 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Provide time-extension recommendations and mitigation strategies.
