Job summary

Global Engineering Management Solutions (GEMS) seeks an experienced Scheduler III / Project Scheduler to support LAWA and major aviation infrastructure programs. The role emphasizes Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, and project controls for high-value airport construction projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of scheduling experience, with 5+ years on active construction projects and strong PMI/PSP-aligned certifications. Advanced scheduling skills and aviation project exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of scheduling experience on large construction projects.
• 5+ years directly supporting active construction projects.
• Experience scheduling complex projects in the $300M–$1B range.
• Advanced expertise with Oracle Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, project controls, earned value, and progress measurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Aviation experience preferred; PSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor baseline schedules and monthly schedule updates.
• Analyze critical path, logic, sequencing, WBS, resource loading, and schedule variances.
• Maintain owner/shadow schedules and track actual construction progress.
• Review Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and evaluate schedule extensions.
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and mitigation opportunities.
• Develop schedule forecasts, progress reports, and management briefings.
• Support master scheduling and interfaces across multiple aviation projects.

Global Engineering Management Solutions (GEMS) is seeking an experienced Scheduler III / Project Scheduler to support a major aviation infrastructure program at Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA).

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced scheduling professional with strong Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, construction schedule analysis, and project controls expertise to support complex, high-value airport construction projects.
