Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to support aviation projects, based on-site at Los Angeles International Airport. This role develops and maintains detailed construction schedules for large-scale projects and coordinates with Contractors to ensure on-time delivery and performance against baselines.

Ideal candidates have extensive CPM scheduling experience, strong command of Primavera P6 and MS Project, and a track record on multi-project programs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is required.
• 10+ years of scheduling experience with at least 5+ years in direct support of an active construction project.
• Aviation sector experience is preferred.
• Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review Contractor's Baseline Schedule for conformance with Plans and Specifications and ensure proper WBS, sequencing and logic.
• Coordinate with Contractor Scheduler to resolve schedule deficiencies and update baselines.
• Review Monthly Schedule updates for accuracy, logic changes and progress reporting.
• Develop and maintain an owner shadow schedule using multiple data sources for delay analysis.
• Attend weekly meetings and monitor 3-week look-ahead schedules for accuracy.
• Prepare time impact analyses and recommend time extensions as needed.
• Provide reporting tools and visuals to communicate complex scheduling to management.
