Job summary

Accura Engineering in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Project Manager-Aviation/Airport with strong Owner’s Representative experience to manage landside or facility-related aviation projects. The role emphasizes planning, design, procurement, and project delivery over construction supervision, and requires clear written and verbal communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant project management experience.
• Airport/airfield program management experience.
• Knowledge of airport operations and aviation facility construction.
• Experience serving as Owner's Representative.
• Strong planning, design, procurement and delivery focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops scope of project, planning/concept documents, engineering documents, and construction documents.
• Develop procurement documents as project dictates.
• Participates in procurement selection process.
• Negotiates contracts and change orders as necessary.
• Leads architectural/engineering and construction for development of plans and construction.
• Oversees reviews for all submittals.
• Coordinates with departments to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and guidelines.
• Oversees all design and construction.
• Administer and attend meetings, reviews submittals, and shop drawings.
• Reports, maintains and updates project reporting and database throughout tenant project and project closeout.
• Reviews construction schedule for completeness and progress.
• Confers with stakeholders to resolve matters.
• Coordinates construction activities to meet deadlines.
• Identifies environmental hazards per OSHA.
