Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Project Manager-Aviation/Airport in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of PM experience, including roles as an Owner’s Representative, and will manage landside or facility projects with emphasis on planning, design, procurement, and delivery rather than field supervision.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, and strong written and verbal communication skills to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience serving as Owner's Representative for airport/airfield projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops scope of project, planning/concept documents, engineering documents, and construction documents.
• Develop procurement documents as project dictates; participate in procurement selection.
• Negotiate engineering/architectural/construction contracts and change orders as necessary.
• Lead architectural/engineering and construction for development of plans and construction.
• Oversee reviews for architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil submittals.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and guidelines.
• Oversee design and construction; admin and attend meetings; review submittals and shop drawings.
• Maintain project reporting and database; monitor schedule for completeness and progress.
