Job summary

Accura Engineering in Memphis, TN is seeking a Project Manager-Aviation/Airport with 5+ years of project management experience, including owner’s representation and landside or facility-related projects. The role focuses on planning, design, procurement, and delivery, not construction supervision, and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience providing high-level program/project management for airport and airfield projects.
• Knowledge of airport operations and aviation facilities construction.
• Experience serving as Owner's Representative.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops scope of project, planning/concept documents, engineering documents, and construction documents.
• Develop procurement documents as project dictates.
• Participates in procurement selection process.
• Negotiates engineering/architectural/construction contracts and change orders as necessary
• Leads architectural/engineering and construction for development of plans and construction
• Oversees architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil reviews for all submittals
• Performs constructability reviews of plans and specifications at required stages of design.
• Coordinates with all departments to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and guidelines.
• Oversees all design and construction.
• Administer and attend meetings, reviews submittals, and shop drawings for work being performed.
